At the heart of Gothenburg's industrial history

In March 2027, we will open our sixth destination in SKF’s former headquarters in Gamlestan. On the 10th and 11th floors, we will offer office rooms, fixed desks and flex desks with fantastic views of Gothenburg in all directions. Of course, the area will also consist of pleasant lounge environments, phone and conversation rooms and kitchens with top-class appliances and materials.

On the ground floor we operate a manned entrance and restaurant with meeting and conference space in a mezzanine floor above the restaurant.

Let us take you on

A journey back in time

The year was 1967 when the third SKF headquarters was built. During this time, architecture was often characterized by brutalism, where function and construction governed the appearance.

The building was used almost exclusively for offices, with the management offices located at the top of the 14th floor. A lavish double-height entrance hall was located adjacent to the main entrance. The company’s symbolically important ball recurs as a recurring motif in the building, including in the elevator halls’ decorations and in the entrance hall, which was adorned with several round crystal chandeliers.

Many of the original features of the building are still preserved today and will live on when it opens in March 2027 and beyond.

The vision

We have a penchant for industrial heritage buildings where global and innovative Gothenburg companies have grown and developed over the years. In addition to managing the historical legacy of previous generations of entrepreneurs, we want to provide the opportunity for tomorrow's large companies to start, grow and develop in an exciting historical environment together with other companies.

Our destinations

Where to find us

Gamlestaden - historic district with strong belief in the future

Gamlestaden, often called Gamlestan, is one of Gothenburg’s most historic and at the same time most expansive neighborhoods. Here, industrial history, newly built housing and a growing range of services meet in an area that is developing rapidly and is attractive to both businesses and residents.

A rapidly developing area

In recent years, Gamlestaden has undergone extensive urban development. New homes, restaurants, cafés and workplaces have sprung up, creating a vibrant and mixed neighborhood. The proximity to water, green areas and culture makes the area attractive to both families and businesses looking for a dynamic environment.

Excellent transport connections

One of Gamlestaden’s greatest advantages is its strategic location. It is home to Gamlestaden resecentrum , one of Gothenburg’s main public transport hubs. Trams, buses and commuter trains make it easy to get to central Gothenburg, the region and the rest of western Sweden. By car, you can quickly reach the E45 and other major routes.
