Emma johansson

My name is Emma Johansson and I have almost 20 years of experience in the restaurant business. I started my journey as a chef at Sjömagasinet and from there I have moved around the world and worked in several better restaurants in the Gothenburg area, Norway and the UK.

I’m passionate about food, people and the encounter that occurs at a set table. Over the last 10 years of my career, I have spent a lot of time on various catering assignments and had the honor of providing food and service at hundreds of weddings, parties and corporate events. Being able to customize menus and arrangements according to our customers’ wishes for their big day to be perfect is a pleasure!

When I got the opportunity to run the business at Objektiv in Hasselbladhuset’s historic premises opposite the Gothenburg Opera, the choice of focus was obvious. We serve beautiful and well-prepared food with a focus on Nordic flavors. Fresh fish, Swedish meat and vegetables in season. We look forward to developing our business in the years to come – come along for the ride!
